Since making his debut for Wellington in 2018, Xavier has become a cornerstone of the Lions and Hurricanes front row. He was Lions Rookie of the year and followed that award up with Lions Player of the Year in 2022. He is a formidable scrummager and his strength and athleticism makes him a force to be reckoned with around the park.
