WRFU Thanks PaySauce for Five Seasons of Support

Wellington Rugby is proud to recognise and thank PaySauce for its continued support of the Wellington Lions throughout the 2026 season, marking five seasons as a valued partner.

Proudly headquartered in Wellington, PaySauce backed the Lions once again as the team’s back-of-shorts sponsor during the 2026 NPC campaign. Its continued involvement reflected a strong connection to the region and a shared commitment to supporting local communities.

WRFU interim CEO Josh Willoughby expressed his appreciation for PaySauce’s ongoing support.

 “PaySauce has been a loyal supporter of the Lions, and we were proud to have them alongside us for a fifth season. We’re grateful the PaySauce team for their continued commitment to Wellington Rugby and the communities we represent.”

Beyond rugby, PaySauce’s support for charities and community groups across New Zealand and the Pacific reflected the same community focus. From grassroots sports clubs to regional NGOs, the company backed people working to make a difference.

As a cloud-based payroll software platform, PaySauce helped small businesses simplify payroll, from approving timesheets and leave to calculating pay, PAYE, KiwiSaver and holiday pay, paying staff through automated banking, and filing with the IRD.
