Nui was pretty much a surprise call up to the Wellington Lions in 2024. He was largely unknown to the Wellington public when he fronted as a half back in the 2024 NPC after playing previously for Thames Valley and Waikato. He will be keen to display his talent to help the Lions in 2025.
