Men Of The Den - 2008 Calendar |
This calendar represents many hours of work by members of your 2007 Vodafone Wellington Lions squad.
This project has been a major part of the team’s 2007 professional development programme. While the opportunity to develop skills through this process was a key driver, the team was also motivated by its desire to provide something for our fans and to generate income that could be used to benefit others within our community.
Some of the funds generated from this project will be given to the Team’s 2007 Charity Jigsaw. We are proud to be associated with an organisation with a vision that “All children and families are safe, `value`d and nurtured within a society where their safety and wellbeing is paramount.” Like Jigsaw, we support the view that children and families are precious, and that all families want what is best for their children. We are pleased that we can support them in some small way through the proceeds of this calendar.
Most importantly a big thanks to our backers the Gillies Group, the Dominion Post who provided outstanding images for us to use and The Temperance. Projects like this would be made very difficult without this invaluable support and assistance.
We look forward to seeing and hearing you all at Westpac Stadium in 2008 supporting the Hurricanes and the Vodafone Wellington Lions.
