Ricoh Wellington Lions Community Engagement  - "Getting Behind Wellington"
The Ricoh Wellington Lions have a long history of commitment and dedication to aiding the Greater Wellington community.  Through player appearances around the city, school and charity visits, unwavering support of junior and club rugby as well as autographed materials for donations and charity auctions, the Ricoh Wellington Lions play a vital role throughout our province. In 2012, the Ricoh Wellington Lions will continue their fantastic tradition of community engagement. Players, coaches and team management alike will aid grassroots projects, working alongside local schools, clubs, charities, community groups and councils to initiate positive and meaningful change throughout the region. This year, the Ricoh Wellington Lions will be working closely with Volunteer Wellington as they continue to be active members of the Wellington community. Players, coaches and team management will spend time during the season identifying, and completing, a number of different community projects, effectively working towards making a difference to their province.
